REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP

WITH THE

CENTRAL ARIZONA TALL SOCIETY

QUALIFICATIONS

Membership applications may be accepted from any person who fulfills the following:

  1. Be found by measuring committee to be of a stocking-feet height of not less than six feet, two inches (6'2") if a male and not less than five feet, ten inches (5'10") if a female.
  2. Be twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of acceptance.
  3. Be of good moral character, and worthy of the trust and confidence of C.A.T.S. members.
  4. Pay the required Member Dues as specified by By-Laws.
  5. Have attended a minimum of Three (3) Club Activities.

CLASSES AND PRIVILEGES

 




"Regular Members" shall be those who have met C.A.T.S. requirements and who have been accepted as Members by a majority vote at a Regular C.A.T.S. Meeting. They have dues-paying responsibility and voting privileges, and shall receive all C.A.T.S. newsletters free of charge.




"Life Members" are Regular Members who have been active members in the Club for five (5) full consecutive years prior to submitting their request at a Regular Board Meeting, which request shall be considered and must be approved by a majority Board vote. Upon approval, the Life Member shall pay the appropriate dues as defined.




"Charter Members" are the original club members whose names appear on the Club charter, who shall not be required to pay dues, and have no voting privileges.




"Associate Members" are the "significant other" to a regular member, that does not meet C.A.T.S. requirements. They do not pay dues, and have no voting privileges, and will not receive C.A.T.S. newslertters.  They may attend house parties accompanied by the C.A.T.S. member in their household.




"Registered Prospective Members" are persons who have applied for membership with the Membership Committee/Vice President.  They may attend house parties (except for the election party), and have no voting rights.  They will receive only 3 newsletters unless they meet C.A.T.S. membership requirements, and become a regular member.
